Conditions capture additional experimental states within your study design, such as dose levels, treatment variants, or protocol states.

When to use conditions

Use conditions when group-level structure alone is not enough to describe your experiment.

Setup guidance

• Define condition labels that match your experimental protocol
• Keep labels concise and consistent
• Apply conditions systematically across animals

Conditions depend on groups in the current workflow.

If conditions are enabled, at least two conditions are required for a valid study setup.

Warning

Deleting a condition does not delete animals, but condition assignments on affected animals are removed and should be reviewed.
