Full-Brain High-Resolution Projects
Full-brain high-resolution projects are for slices imaged across the whole brain at 10x or 20x.
They do not use a separate 4x anatomical target plus a 10x or 20x detail region.
When to use this project type
Use this acquisition mode when each staining covers the full brain slice at the project detail magnification.
Examples:
- full-slice cFos
10x - full-slice TRAP
20x - full-slice DAPI or NeuN
10x
What images are required
Upload the full-slice images at the project detail magnification.
No 4x image is required.
The staining assigned as Anatomical reference is used for atlas registration.
Registration behavior
NeuroQP registers the high-resolution anatomical reference directly to the atlas.
The registration algorithm may use a downscaled version internally, but the project does not need a separate 4x image.
Alignment behavior
Detail-to-reference FFT alignment is skipped.
There is no separate detail image to place because the analysis image already covers the full slice.
Review guidance
Review atlas registration across the full slice, with special attention to the regions used in analysis.
Image quality, tissue completeness, and consistent magnification labels are especially important because the high-resolution image is both the reference and the analysis source.
