Managing uploaded data
After upload, use the Data view to review quality, correct metadata, and keep analysis-ready slices organized.
Interpret slice cards
Each slice card shows:
- Animal, slice name, and AP coordinate
- Processing status for atlas registration and cell detection
- Image slots for DAPI 4x, DAPI 20x, and 20x stainings, colored with the color you specified in the Study Stainings section.
A successful cell detection status may show the detected cell count directly on the slice.
Edit metadata and image assignments
You can correct metadata directly in Data view:
- Click to edit Animal, Slice name, and AP coordinate
- Open image edit and update Staining or Magnification
- Upload into missing slots from placeholder tiles
If a slot is replaced later, dependent derived outputs may be recomputed for that slice.
Search, filter, and sort
Use filters and sort controls to find slices quickly:
- Animal, slice name, AP range
- Issues that need to be resolved like missing stainings
- Slices that were flagged manually like Ignored for processing or Needs attention
Curation flags
Ignore processing
Marks a slice to be excluded from statistics/processing outputs.
Use this for damaged or out-of-scope slices you want to keep in the project record but exclude from analysis.
Needs attention
Marks slices that require follow-up, for example quality review or re-upload. It su an comment field to keep track of the issue internally.
Use this for collaboration and rework tracking.
Deleting data
You can delete:
- Individual images
- Entire slices (including all associated images)
